Nuno Cruz approached me with an idea. Design his new LP's front and back design, focusing on referencing from the digital artstyle of 3D illustration and bridging it with metal, but with carte blanche to not stay within the norm of metal designs.
Furthermore, Nuno wanted to visualize his logotype and icon in 3D, so we matched the album's idea and created a shiny, metallic emblem with a lot of texture, symbolizing the learnings and experiences that one obtains by trying to break free from the mold, in this case, through music.
Overall, this job came a bit out of the blue, and was really out of the ordinary in terms of work style for me. I really enjoyed the brainstorming process and figuring out the best way to prepare not only for digital, but also for print and CMYK usage.
Thanks for reading!
