Delphi Digital and Polymarket have partnered to bring Delphi members the best on-chain, real-time prediction markets directly embedded in their research reports.

Tasked with animating this announcement, me and my teammate Neco started drafting the storyboard/concept art styleframes.

Neco's got a great eye for design and, being his first time creating style frames and storyboarding for a production piece, he took inspiration from the safe, but old-at-this-point Delphi Digital branding.

Comparison between the original styleframe and the final shot

As the storyboard was being made, I started ideating on the look and feel of this animation. It should feel tied and cohesive, which would be easier given the resemblances between Delphi's and Polymarket's branding.

At the same time, it needed to also feel more leaning on corporate and clean, less edgy and gamble-y.

In the final shot, I leaned in on an ortographic aesthetic with a velvet-y like feel to the background.

Mixing a lot of 3D shots woven with pure 2D animations, with the ocasional close-up 3D shot to tie and strenghten certain key actions, I tried to create this powerful, almost "The Creation of Adam"-esque portrayal of these two brands.

Last but not least, I animated in 24 frames per second with the goal to use AI to upscale to 48 frames per second, giving it the buttery smooth feel for social media appeal.

Using the open-source software Flowframes and an Nvidia RTX 5090, generating the upscalex 2x animation took around 15 minutes.

Comparison between 24 vs 48 frames per second.

After the animation was done, Neco worked his magic with the sound design, and finalized with this amazing piece.

Overall, it was a great first project to start 2026, and I'm really excited for this year's tasks and challenges and very happy to have great designers by my side.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and i'll leave you with some shots from the animation.
